So Chloe had some blood tests done last Monday, the last time they had been taken was beginning of October so we had a nice lovely break from needles.
After the previous few tests had shown her Platelets and WBC in the normal range, I was a little shocked to get a call from the Nurse saying that Chloe’s Platelets were low again. What the?!?!?! Really?!?!?!? Why?!?!!?!
Luckily not as low as this time last year but still low at 138. Yesterday in we went again to get another blood test done, hoping that last week was just a random thing. But I called up the hospital today and her Platelets are still low at 139. Our Paediatrician is away till next Monday, so we will
have to wait till then to find out what he thinks and wants to do.
I honestly thought we were over the JMML hurdle . . . but maybe we aren’t . . . or maybe it’s something different. Who bloody knows! Chloe really does like to keep us on our toes.
Trusting my gut instinct is what keeps me from going insane with worry. She is happy as, full on energy, eating more and as of this week down to one nap a day. . . not exactly the signs that something is up.
